Precognitive dreams are dreams that foretell the future. They are different from dreams which simple anticipate the future or predict it in ways that are easily explained by conventional physics. The existence of precognitive dreams has not been conclusively proven. Research in the 1960s seemed to suggest precognitive dreams do exist, but more recent attempts to replicate these findings have not been successful.
